I was invited to show my work at La Malcriada, a brunch restaurant in Barcelona, which collaborates with La Real Edit, an art studio specializing in serigraphy, with whom I made the piece páramo.
I made the pieces about coffee culture in Los Andes and its fauna and flora. Here are the illustrations I took to the exhibition, along with my processes and notes about the work.
Technique: watercolor and pencil






Coffee picker. Coffee plants are usually planted with banana plants to get some shadow from them.

Peasant house in the valley, coffee plants, chicken, donkey, and, of course, a jaguar.
Gulungo and Bichofué. Gouache, pencil and watercolor.
