I finished the illustrations for this book in just a few months because I feel like I get along so well with the editor and art director. It's so gratifying to be able to say this is one of my favorite publishers.

The art director asked me if I felt comfortable drawing the originals in ink and watercolor. It's a technique I use constantly for my personal work, and of course, I said yes!
