Color overflows everything: the neon lights, the countless bulbs, the decorations, and that beautiful, extravagant, sometimes unsettling yet unmistakable style of the rides and booths. I’m obsessed with the aesthetics of fairs

We live surrounded by gray tones and an excess of minimalism: buildings, asphalt, even car paint have gradually adopted neutral shades. In contrast, the color and light of fairs create a vibrant oasis amid so much monotony

For years, I’ve been taking photos of carousel figures or anything that resembles them in shape, color, or style.
